While rehearsing for a different video, the Choral Syndicate was given a challenge – learn a new song at 9pm, then perform it on video at 10pm. Challenge accepted! We chose the classic Kirk Franklin hit “Brighter Day,” which now seems like the perfect message for these trying times. Enjoy and stay safe!

Under the direction of producer/writer/vocalist Trance Thompson, the Choral Syndicate is a gathering of some of then most talented vocalists in the Bay Area and LA. The ever-changing and expanding choir seeks to move your soul with it's stirring harmonies, original arrangements, and uplifting messages. Though not exclusively a gospel choir, the Syndicate leans heavily on the gospel tradition, while navigating through different genres (R&B, Urban Gospel, House, Acapella, Pop), but always singing songs about love, healing, spirituality, the planet and that spark of inspiration inside all of us. Backed by some of the best musicians in the Bay Area, the Choral Syndicate's mission is to bring their big, joyous sound to the masses in a way that reflects the diversity of California.
